TOPIC: KING OF THE SKY

Eagle as a bird had been reclaimed with and had been known as the king of the birds when it comes to flying in the sky.

What exactly help the eagle to get to this status? This is the question to be treated and handled this week.

A parrot talks much, but flies a little. A Crow at 30feet can spot things a mere few hundreds yards away and a Turkey or Chicken that never leaves the ground has virtually zero field of vision and is likely to perish in a bush fire or from some ravaging predators.

Eagle is a bird that preys. No one preys on eagle. Eagle does not fear the serpent. It feed on serpent. Believer is an eagle. No witch can feed on him. Serpents stands to represent curses, they may bring down the unbeliever but not you. The negative covenant may work against the sinner in your family. It can’t prosper against you.

AN EAGLE at 10,000 feet can see its prey miles away; many times this BIRD OF PREY can reach the staggering height of 25,000 feet (e.g. Raptor eagle, the Lammergier) or five miles above the surface of the earth and can dive at speeds of up to 200kmph, for its prey. The eagle is an aerodynamic marvel, a perfect flying machine, well able to maintain flight for lengthy periods without undue exertion.

*THE EAGLE AND THE THERMAL CURRENT: (2 Cor 10:12; Rm 8:25-27). Early in the morning, THE EAGLE first waits perching quietly on a craggy rock or tree because he understands THERMALS while other birds around him flap and beating their wings ceaselessly, the Eagle is completely aloof and disinterested in the coming and goings of other birds around him. AND STILL THE EAGLE WAITS, and understudies the air currents until THE THERMAL CURRENT begins to rise. Suddenly by some inner cue or sign the Eagle instinctively thermal current for EFFORTLESS flight. At this spur, Effortlessly but Powerfully he flaps once, twice and then he is seized, engulfed by an unseen hand, The Thermals, he rises, goes higher and higher, with just the merest flip of the wings, this giant bird soars and suddenly disappears from Human view becoming like a mere speck in the vast expanse of blue. When the day ends and all other birds are tired, exhausted because of the whipping efforts, the Eagle glides in for a perfect landing, he is relaxed, poised and tireless, and this is why he is the king of the sky.

So many believer will rush out like other birds, esp. early in the morning. They don’t take time to seek for direction. Wait early before God and know the direction from God for the day. At the 1^st and 2^nd step, the believer is engulfed by an unseen hands so he makes it easily. Because God is the one leading, victory is sure.

Believer must target the highest of the highest. No child of God must underrate himself. He is a king, so God sees him. When a believer sees himself this was he is able to achieve great things both for God and for Himself.

The eagle gets to the top because this is its target. The mother and the child eagle know by instinct that there is a thermal current -a warm wind in the morning when all the dews would have been taken off.

Eagle has a signal that gives them direction on when to move. Every believer must be harmed to the point of knowing when to take step. If a believer can only know the power of the Holy Spirit in allowing Him, that is, the Holy Spirit to brood on him, he/she will constantly receive a signal of when to move or stop.

There’s a need to know more of the Holy Spirit as He gives direction. Solution may not be in the mountain top of fasting alone but also in the understanding of the power and works of the Holy Spirit.

Eagle believer never copy others but learn to wait on God and know when exactly to move.

Ephesians 1:13,14 –Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance. He’s the zeal of all we can receive from God. However, take note, the chapter says “…UNTIL”, this means there is a level or measure that we must attain before we can get to know all that belong to us in God.

1 Cor 2:11; Nobody can truly exhibit the power of God until he know the Holy Spirit. He is the one that releases the thermal current that makes man to excel his equal

*It is one thing to flap your wings but another to SOAR, Soaring simply means you can get there.

*When you look beyond the horizon, you will get the big picture of life (Pro 23:7). When you determine and revolt against the status quo of your environment you will get higher.

*The thermal current to fly and soar above others will come, if you can always and constantly wait (Ps 27:14; Ps 130:5-7). No Christian gain thermal current until he waits on God.

*You must believe and see it in your mind’s eye (creative imagination which generates desire, thoughts hopes and dreams). For everything that has ever been achieved came through the spark of imagination running in you or in your tide.

*Let your imagination and mind be used to think like a WINNER (Pro 18:1-4). For:

(1) A WINNER is always ready to tackle something NEW;

(2) He is never afraid of competition’

(3) A WINNER is challenged by a NEW PROBLEM;

(4) A WINNER is decisive and He thinks always positively (Phil 14:18). A looser on the other side, does not believe it can be done, he doesn’t want to face it, he is full of indecision and always thinking negatively.

If you ever imagine going higher you’ll get high. Determine to be GREAT.

A THERMAL CURRENT IS THE ENERGY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT PUTS IN THE HEART OF MAN, SPURED BY GOD’S LEADING.

IT IS THE GOOD THOUGHT PUTS IN MAN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WHICH WILL DEFINITELY COME INTO FULFILMENT.

IT IS THE HOPEFUL THOUGHT THAT ‘I WILL GET THERE AND WILL DIFINITELY BE THERE’.

*THE THERMAL CURRENT will always come, WAIT, USE IT and WIN.
